JONATHAN (YIZHI) LEE
As a chamber musician, Jonathan has had the privilege of receiving chamber music coaching from the Pacifica Quartet, T'ang Quartet, Shanghai Quartet, Lutoslawski Quartet, cellist Michael Kannen and the Jupiter Quartet just to name a few. Professionally, he has performed in public chamber music concerts in America representing the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic as well as public concerts in the inaugural Singapore International Festival of Music and Singapore Asian Composers Festival. Prior to that he has also performed in various venues in Cambodia, Vietnam and Singapore.
Sometimes, we desire to play music with a small group of friends. Others want to taste having more independence within a small ensemble.
Regardless of your motivations to playing chamber music, are you keen to take it to the next level?
If so, you will be glad to know that I now offer chamber music coaching for pre-formed groups. While coaching is scheduled according to the needs of each group, regular coaching is recommended for groups intending to get the most holistic (and hence rewarding) chamber music experience.

He has also conducted string sectionals as well as orchestra tutti rehearsals at the NUS Symphony Orchestra.
